Hours: 7.5 per week (1 day)


The Professional Development Department offers a range of resources to support healthcare professionals and clinical placement providers across the capital.

Our service addresses the recognised need to support the development of these professionals who are in recognised training programmes.

Whilst our clients are mainly doctors and dentists, in training, smaller numbers from other healthcare professions seek our support.

We have a number of resources online that reflect the breadth of our client base and will be continuing development in this area.

With this in mind we are looking for applicants who have experience in the following:


  • Provision of careers support to adults;
  • Provision of careers support to client groups;
  • Facilitation and design of workshops and webinars to support supervisors/teachers and those in their care;
  • Producing high quality materials for both webbased and other activities;
  • Working with adults facing a range of personal challenges in making choices about their careers;

IN ADDITION:


This opportunity may particularly suit those with a portfolio career and we can be flexible about the specific days which you allocate to the Professional Support Unit.

Whilst the team is currently working from home, the post is designated as being London based.

Once we return to the office, in Central London, we would expect the successful applicant to be willing and able to attend the office as their working base.
