Working pattern: Full time

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Leadership L12-16 (Inner London) £71,851- £78,464

Start date: 1 September 2024

About the role:

The Academy are seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal – Pastoral Care to join theirtalented and committed senior leadership team.You will be responsible for an area of pastoral care.This could be a key stage or safeguarding across the academy.You will work closely with the Vice Principal to promote the academy's culture and ethos.

You will:

• have considerable pastoral experience, either as a head of year, supporting a year group through two key stages or as a DSL or Assistant Principal.
• be motivated and resilient with excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills.
• have experience of having led and managed a team of people.
• have worked successfully in at least one school in an urban, multi-cultural setting, teaching students from backgrounds of socio-economic disadvantage.
• have experience of having led, or significantly contributed to, the success of a whole school initiative.
