    TA - DESIGN & ENGINEERING - TAL - Instrumentation and Control

    Installed Base BU is in charge for Framatome's nuclear engineering and services for operating nuclear plants, for new build projects and for installations in decommissioning phase.

    In the UK we are currently over 300 strong and our plans are to grow to by 2025 through the development our UK nuclear service offerings.

    Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will be a member of the Engineering team delivering instrument and control solutions internally within the business and supporting external customers.

    Specifying control systems and instruments for testing, ensuring delivery to time and budget are met.
    Write URS documents for suppliers for control and data acquisition systems. Modify programmes on PLC and data acquisition system to ensure test rigs operate within control and work safely.
    Select components for use on projects, forming performance specifications and working with suppliers.
    Undertaking site surveys and customer visits.
    Presenting project findings to customers.
    Technically support the bid process, writing technical proposals and collecting costs.
    Providing technical support to the Engineering Production and Chemicals team.
    Engineering networking with companies and trade associations.
    Developing knowledge through training and attendance at engineering events.
    Improving information flow, including the quality.
    Networking within Framatome to improve knowledge capture.
    Assisting others in the Engineering team.
    BEng Electrical or Electronic Engineering, 2.Good working knowledge of PLC's and Data Acquisition systems

    25 days annual leave per year, increasing by 1 day every 2 years to a minimum of 30 days + Bank Holidays.
