About the role
We're seeking an experienced solicitor to join us as a

Legal Adviser in the Commercial Services team.


In this role you will assist NCFE's Legal Counsel to provide high quality, robust and timely advice and support to the Executive, Senior Leadership team and other members of staff at NCFE on a wide variety of matters.

This will be primarily focussed on commercial contracts but also working on IP, property, litigation, data protection and employment matters.


You will also manage and mitigate risk through designing and implementing policies and procedures and promoting compliance best practice across the organisation.


We're looking for someone who holds the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor (2-4 years PQE), although more qualified solicitors are welcome to apply.
  • Good general training in commercial or contract law
  • Experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements
  • Proactive with the ability to operate effectively in a fastmoving environment.
  • Selfmotivated, able to work on own initiative, manage time and meet deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This role requires hybrid working therefore you will need to be within travelling distance of Head Office to ensure you can work from the office 1-2 times a
