    Pertemps Maidstone are recruiting for an experienced Account Executive on behalf of a dynamic and innovative client who is committed to delivering exceptional customer services within the insurance sector. The Account Executive is responsible for providing quotations for new business and renewals.Please Note: This is not a remote role.Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 (35hrs)Salary: Depending on experienceContract: PermanentBenefits: Pension Scheme, High Street Discounts, Healthcare Schemes, Long Service Awards.

    • Whilst experience in Insurance Brokering is advantageous, a sales or business development background would also be considered.
    • You should be keen to demonstrate your analytical skills, have meticulous attention to detail and be confident in your judgement and decision-making.
    • In your Executive role you will be leading by example and become a referral point for assistants.
    • You will exceed sales targets and ensure client retention by communicating and negotiating with clients over the phone and via e-mail.
    You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working within a broking or underwriting environment.Responsibilities
    • Deliver exceptional customer services throughout the client's journey with you.
    • Understand all processes and procedures to allow you to present all relevant information to the client, allowing them to make informed decisions.
    • Ensure telephone calls and e-mails are answered in a timely manner.
    • Update and maintain documentation to ensure accuracy.
    Skills
    • Cert CII Qualification is desired.
    • Proficient with Microsoft packages.
    • Positive attitude with the ability to self-motivate.
    • Articulate & Numerate.
    • Honesty, integrity, reputation, competence, and financial soundness as required under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Guernsey Financial Service Commission (GFSC)
