    West London NHS Trust are currently advertising for an Inpatient Consultant Psychiatrist in our Acute Mental Health Services.

    Additionally, we are offering a 20K Golden Hello (pro rata for part-time) for those in post for 2 years.

    The post is for a 16 bedded inpatient unit which is on the site of Charing Cross Hospital, close to all amenities of Hammersmith Broadway.

    If appointed, you will be joining an experienced and welcoming team of consultants, who scored above benchmarks in our recent Staff Survey.

    We will robustly support your professional and clinical development, as well as any areas of professional interest you are keen to pursue.

    The aim is to engage people cared for in mental health units in therapeutic interventions that will reduce the likelihood of crisis periods occurring that may otherwise need to be managed through the use of force

    MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

    Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management
    Excellent clinical skills in Acute General Adult Psychiatry
    Academic skills and lifelong learning
    Able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training
    Experienced in clinical research and / or service evaluation
