SALARY:
£32,000 - £35,000

LOCATION:
Nottingham

SETTING:
Hybrid/ 2 days per week at home

An exciting opportunity has arisen at XMA for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist in our Procurement team.

You will support the Supply Chain Director to implement the Supply Chain Strategy to meet XMA's strategic direction through supplier tendering opportunities, rebate and SRM.

Job Specification:

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supporting internal stakeholders in all aspect of the bid process including pre-market engagement; developing procurement strategies to support business requirements.
Identifying key suppliers across the categories and establish appropriate supplier management activities to oversee supplier's performance against SLA's and KPI's that includes documented QBR activity.
Supporting with and maintaining the Supplier matrix and inform updated versions to the transactional procurement team.
Evaluating and reviewing the supplier base to reduce where possible, amalgamating spend with tiered partners.
Negotiating with multiple suppliers to maximise on saving, price, quality, and service.
Supporting delivery of the financial targets (direct and indirect) set by XMA through efficient processes and supplier management and negotiation.
Providing Procurement support to the Bids function to ensure all bids are competitive, sourcing components, renegotiating current pricing and identifying alternative products.

Requirements:

Other skills include:

Ability to research companies and determine the best vendors to reach out to for various projects.
Demonstrates Emotional Intelligence in all situations.
Strong PC literacy and working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Experience of using ERP and Stock Management software.
Proven commercial office experience.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills within the business to communicate and influence at all levels.
