This year, we're recruiting apprentices in three areas across our business. Each offers elite training with top training providers in London and across the country to provide tailored training training for your apprenticeship. You'll spend time studying for industry-recognised qualifications and working on fascinating projects at work.

Engineering Apprenticeship

Location: Belvedere -Duration: 4 years -Level 3 Maintenance andOperations Engineering Technician

A 4-year Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship, based at our Energy from Waste plant in Belvedere.

You'll be aligned to our Maintenance or Operations workstreams, supporting the team in either Electrical; Mechanical; Controls & Instrumentation or Operations.

Marine Engineering Apprenticeship

Location: Charlton (andGravesend) -Duration :4 years -Level 3 Maritime Engineering Technician

A 4-year Level 3 Maritime Engineering Technician apprenticeship, based at our Charlton Barge Yard.

You'll work alongside the team to assist with the installation of new equipment, components and systems in the yard and aboard our tugs, and assist with projects at our Gravesend ship repair facility.

Maintenance Apprenticeship

Location: Smugglers Way (Wandsworth)or Northumberland Wharf (Tower Hamlets) -Duration: 3 years -Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician

A 3-year Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship, based at one of our Transfer Stations in London.

Through a mixture of off-the-job and on-site training, you'll gain an understanding of the Transfer Station and how they play an important part in the energy from waste process.

You must have (or expect to obtain)GCSE passes at grade 4* or higherin the following subjects:

the Engineering Apprentice at Belvedere requires grade 5 or higher.

We're sorry, but candidates who hold a Bachelors or Masters degree cannot apply for our apprenticeships, as they are funded by HM Government and are aimed to teach new skills.
