    Job Title:

    Internal Telephone Business Development ManagerLocation: Remote but will need to visit the head office 1-2 times each quarter Salary: Up to £31,000 plus performance-related quarterly bonuses of up to 25%Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.

    About the Role:
    We have a great new opportunity to join a leading specialist buy-to-let and residential mortgage lender.
    You will be responsible for managing broker interactions, primarily inbound telephone-based calls. You will be communicating our client's product proposition and strengths, ensuring optimum service levels are maintained at all times.

    You will update brokers on their existing cases, and you will help them with their new enquiries to explain how our proposition can help.


    Responsibilities:
    Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our product offering and lending policyBecome an expert in the use of Lender Portal and CRMEstablish an excellent working relationship with Regional Account Managers and the New Business TeamMaximise interactions with brokers to generate additional sales opportunities and contribute to the Sales PlanIdentify firms/brokers with the potential to submit a high volume of business and refer to the Regional Account ManagerTo assist brokers with new business enquires coming in via inbound calls, where possible converting these opportunities to businessMaintain accurate records of all interactions with brokersAdhere to all processes and policies, ensuring that excellent quality assurance results are consistently achievedFeedback on market information and recommend areas for improvement where appropriateUnderstand and deliver the brand values of the businessDevelop and maintain an excellent relationship with all internal departmentsPlan and organise own workload to ensure personal and team objectives and deadlines are metTake responsibility for personal development, identifying and pursuing opportunities where appropriate to maintain and develop expertiseMaintain a good knowledge of TCF & put the customer first, undertake regular training when requiredProvide testing and any other support required by the team leader when new functionality/systems/processes are introducedExperience required:Excellent communication & relationship management skillsSelf-motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed and deliver resultsExcellent telephone mannerTime management skillsExperience working with brokersA good understanding and knowledge of the mortgage sector ideally with a specialist lender
