Automotive Data Analyst (Monitoring) - JP

Cranfield

To start ASAP - 12 months assignment

Deliverables / Description

  • Investigate Market issues related to the connected service and provide appropriate solution to the customers.
  • Utilise analytical tools to understand the anomalies or trends and find the root cause of the problem sometimes using SQL queries.
  • Use advanced MS Excel techniques including Power Query, Power Pivot and Power Automation to manipulate the cloud data and produce reports.
  • Raise incident tickets in the incident management system and track them through to closure.
  • Cross functional working with project quality, Management, and engineering teams to ensure early response & transparency to concerns.
  • Analyse system logs & error logs to find the root cause and follow the defined procedure for recovery.
  • Provide technical support for offshore call centre team.
  • Utilise & Enhance MS Azure OMS Queries to debug & Triage concerns.
  • Lead regional operations in case of major incident.

**Qualifications, Skills, and Training Requirements
- *
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Work experience on platform health monitoring in cloud platform system (preferably Azure)
  • Work experience of using webbased & standalone tools
  • Basic understanding of automotive development cycle & telematic services or connected services.
  • Experience of MS Azure OMS & Kusto Query is an advantage but not essential.
  • Be able to demonstrate and have practical experience in problem solving tools and techniques
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and reporting skills.
  • Be selfmotivating and selfmanaging, Proactive, energetic, and flexible regarding working practice and working hours.
  • Valid UK/European driving licence is a MUST.
