- Be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
- Provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure.
- Promoting best practice and contributing towards quality improvements.
- Acting as an SFA within scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology and urology surgery.
- Working as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.
