Time Served CNC Miller

Location:
Bury

Salary:
up to £32,448 depending on experience

Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 37.75 hours per week, 7am - 4:30pm, until 4:15pm on Thursdays

No Fridays

Our client, a specialist engineering business based in the Bury area are looking for a Time Served CNC Miller to join their close knit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Manual Turner to join a well run and an established company who are in a periodof growth

CNC Miller role:

Your duties as a CNC Miller will include but are not limited to;

Meet production deadlines ensuring that the appropriate checks have been carried out and work to ISO9001 standard
Manage time and machines efficiently
Work to machining tolerances ensuring that the completed component is checked against the required specifications.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

CNC Miller Experience within the industry is a must.

Time served machinist and having at least 3 years' experience in a busy subcontract environment.
Fork Truck licence desired.
A good understanding of best manufacturing processes is essential.
Work under their own initiative, forward thinking and proactive, tidy.
Work well individually and with our team.
Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
Selfmotivated.
