Management Accountant - Poole (hybrid) - Permanent - £40,000

ARM are delighted to be hiring for a Management Accountant to join one of our clients based in Poole on a permanent basis.

To provide the best financial information and support for the group.

Requirements:

Qualified member of or studying towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) is essential.
The role is suitable for a qualified accountant, or in the absence of professional qualifications five to ten years of relevant experience.
Strong allround IT skills with expert level excel skills is essential. Experience and knowledge of specialist financial systems is desirable.
Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely.
Ability to manage workload and deliver outputs to specific deadlines.
Some staff management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities:

Production of monthly management and assisting with annual statutory accounts
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Preparation of financial reports and liaison with budget holders and other stakeholders external to finance to discuss and review
Maintaining a good level of technical accounting knowledge
Balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with best practice
Journal processing, including ensuring the correct accounting of accruals and prepayments
Review of assistant management accounts work to ensure accuracy
Interrogation of financial systems to identify errors and make corrections
