- Mentoring senior staff and TPW's for effective daily operational systems
- Running the home in the absence of the homes manager
- Supporting the Registered Homes Manager in ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare and development of young people
- Developing, monitoring, and implementing individual young people's care plans
- Maintaining relationships with parents, social workers, schools, and other professionals
- Planning, managing, and leading shifts to ensure the safety and engagement of children
- Creating a home environment safe and sensitive to the needs of young people
- Support in stressful situations, crisis, or emotional and behavioral challenges
- Promoting and supporting education for each child
- Strict adherence to policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Familiarity with Local Authority Safeguarding Child Protection Procedures

Job Title: Residential Deputy Manager
Salary: Sleep Ins - £30, On Call Shifts - £60
Rota Expectation: 40 hours per week, 6 sleep ins, and 3-4 on call shifts
Qualifications: 12 months in a Deputy role, QCF Level 3 minimum, willingness to complete QCF Level 5
