  • Perform functional testing of web and app projects
  • Develop, document tests performed and record outcomes
  • Facilitate "pair testing" with developers to catch bugs early
  • Work with Product Owners to help define requirements and ensure they are clear and testable
  • Advocate quality and encourage a culture of high standards
  • Work with the QA manager in standardising and instilling best practices and testing procedures
  • Work with the wider team to update and improve processes
  • Work closely with the whole team to identify problems as early as possible
  • Coach, mentor and train testers and developers inside the team and/or across teams
  • Help champion & drive a quality focused culture and mindset within a team
In addition you will have the ability to;

  • Find bugs that are often hard to recreate
  • Write clear bug reports including detailed technical steps to recreate issues
  • Think differently and not just follow the "happy path"
  • Give accurate assessments of test coverage
