About Our Client:

A leading manufacturing and logistics company with global reach based in Birmingham.

The role of Transport Planner (PM) in Birmingham will involve:

  • Route planning for all vehicles.
  • Ensuring all ontime collections and deliveries.
  • Maximise efficiencies with vehicle and driver use.
  • Making adhoc changes to the plan as required.
  • Using internal TMS systems.
  • Compliance and H&S.
  • Monitoring and reporting KPIs.
  • Managing drivers and debriefing.
  • Customer service.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Excellent knowledge of transport planning.
  • Experience with planning software and manual planning.
  • The ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong UK geographical knowledge.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • The ability to work on their own initiative and be organised.
  • A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
