    Job Description

    Join AECOM as a Principal Structural Engineer in our Belfast office, where you will play a key role in shaping the future of construction projects both locally and internationally.

    Tasks for this role include:

    • Managing the commercial, managerial, and technical aspects of projects
    • Identifying opportunities and preparing proposals for clients
    • Leading a team in designing infrastructure schemes

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steelwork design
    • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Structural Analysis Software
    • Experience in assessing existing structures and developing new designs

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Comprehensive understanding of engineering practices and principles
    • Ability to deliver design solutions and manage projects effectively
    • Proven track record in structural engineering projects

    Desirable Attributes:

    • Familiarity with the local Belfast marketplace

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Relevant degree and Chartered Engineer status
    • Membership in engineering institutions
