    The Role:
    Senior Product Manager, Agriculture & Food

    We specialize in unrivalled expertise from farm to fork, delivering the latest market news, supply/demand, price data and forecasts, expert analysis and bespoke consulting across thewhole food value chain that helps our clients to see the bigger picture and act upon it.

    The Senior Product Manager will help drive the growth of aportfolio of mature and new B2B information products and services covering the agriculture and food commodity markets , meeting clients and market participants, understanding market trends to identify and deliver high growth opportunities.

    You will work with the wider product management team and collaborate with our research & analysis, sales, technology, marketing and customer care teams to determine which market problems we are best positioned to solve .

    You will join a high performing team where you will have the opportunity to forge your own product roadmap and strategy, focused on the agriculture and food commodities sector that will power growth in the Fuels, Chemicals and Resources business line, part of S&P Commodity Insights division.

    The Senior Product Manager will play a critical role within the wider Agribusiness portfolio, this will include other product groups, research teams, sales, marketing and leadership.

    You will relish the opportunity to solve problems for thousands of companies, and the people that work for them, by designing and building high-quality , product solution s.

    Develop programmes of customer research to uncover needs in a data-driven way and translate feedback into actionable insight ensuring product development continually improve.

    5 years of product management experience with experience of analytical content , data and market intelligence products and services .

    You might have worked in industry data/ analysis , B2B information, fintech , software or a related field .
    ~ Experience in and enthusiasm for engaging with clients to understand customer industry workflows, identify unmet needs, and develop creative solutions to address them
    ~ Experience of working with developers and of Agile Scrum / SAFe practices
    ~ Experience of APIs and enterprise data delivery would be a plus

    Ability to communicate effectively and concisely , including to executive-level audiences

    Project management skills:

    y ou will understand when a sense of urgency is required , you will be comfortable with scheduling and planning, and you can efficiently and effectively guide a group towards a goal.

    You will be comfortable working under pressure and have the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time
    Proven ability to work in a matrix environment, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve shared commercial goals
    Occasional in-region and international travel is required
