Your New Job Title:
R&D Procurement Manager

Your New Daily rate:
up to £342 p/d PAYE or £447 p/d umbrella (inside IR35)
- equivalent of up to £89k per annum

Duration:
Long term temporary assignment for seven months (till end of October 2023)


Location:
Hybrid/West London, Brentford


Start date:

ASAP

Working hours:37.5 hours per week/ hybrid (minimum of 2 days a week in office)


What you'll be doing each day:

This role as Senior Manager in R&D Procurement will support Global Regulatory Affairs with sourcing, contract management and supplier relationship management across the category.


R esponsibilities:


  • Manage the procurement category supporting Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) for category strategy, complex sourcing, contract planning/negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Be the global procurement business partner and align with GRA Leadership Teams to determine the pipeline and how the global category can support the departments goals.
  • Partner with the GRA Third Party Management team (TPM) to further understand GRAs needs in detail and ensure the correct strategy is in place for specific sourcing requirements.
  • Champion strategic sourcing and link these to the category strategy and new company's strategic direction.
  • Collaborate for synergies with other global procurement categories such as Clinical, Medical, Pharmacovigilance, LOC.

S kills and experienceyou need to succeed:

  • University Degree
  • Relevant experience in Procurement
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are essential
  • Proven negotiations and contract management skills
  • Understanding of regulatory affairs
  • Experience in category management
  • Experience in Esourcing
  • Medical background would be a plus
  • Regulatory affairs background in pharma and drug development would be a bonus
  • Proven ability to provide effective procurement management in complex organizations using technical expertise and analytical skills
  • Leadership/communication skills
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgement and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use negotiation and conflict resolution skills to protect company's rights and interests
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple projects using project management skills
