M,y client with offices in York and Derby are looking to hire several software engineers to join their team. This roles are due to increased work load and project wins
These roles can be based in York, Derby or Remote, the choice is yours and they are looking for someone that wants To work in an environment where the developers solve real world problems and make a difference to the world around them

It's a really varied role and the teams cover everything form embedded data capture systems, through distributed and cloud-based processing and analysis solutions, all the way to web based visualisation systems and heavy duty, desktop bound, data investigationtools.

To achieve all this, they have a very capable, multi-disciplined team of engineers, developers and mathematicians pulling together to create inventive and high-performance solutions for a worldwide market.

Someone with a desire to carve out a career in software engineering or who is already working in software but wants something a little different
Willingness to explore the various aspects of systems development
Passionate about getting the right solutions to real engineering problems
A team player, looking to sink their teeth into technical projects

What technologies do they work with?

They develop most systems with C#, using core
Web based systems make use of modern javascript frameworks, with some TypeScript amd React
They use web UI in some desktop systems
Integration with high precision movement sensors sometimes requires C++
The mathematicians develop high performance algorithms using Matlab
Many of their systems get deployed into the Azure Cloud
Large data volumes are hived away in SQL Server and PostgreSQL systems
Realtime data systems rely on performant communications using Akka or Proto.
