    The salary for this position will be from £47,609 - £55,939 Plus Car/Allowance ( £7,760 - £8,475), up to 10% Bonus, Pension, 25+8 Holidays.

    What will I be doing?

    You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of several of waste and recycling facilities, working closely with the onsite operational teams, to ensure delivery and successful business over your geographical area.

    Key elements of the role will include:

  • Managing a multi-site waste processing operation
  • Maximise profits, meeting production targets and deliver financial results
  • Constantly review operational processes and practices implementing changes and driving continuous improvement
  • Lead and develop your team, providing excellent service to our customers.
  • What are the requirements?

    Highly client focussed, self-motivated and an excellent builder of productive relationships, you will have a background of managing multiple operational processing sites, within the recycling / waste management industry, along with:

  • Sound understanding of financial aspects, able to identify cost savings balanced against services provided
  • To support the Regional Manager in the implementation of business strategy and improvement activities.
  • The day to day support of sub-ordinates in delivering excellent customer focus and operational performance
  • Ideally qualifications including COTC and NEBOSH, or the ability to gain them, but good IT skills are essential.
  • You'll need to be able to demonstrate and ability to lead and develop a diverse team of managers, supervisors and site staff, with different skills and experience, equally able to work in and contribute to a management team
