Description

The post holder will deliver evidence-based assessment, treatment and intervention to service users who have a forensic profile, communication difficulties and/or dysphagia.

They will work with service users who have a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.

The role will be Integrated within the therapy Team onsite and will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively as a valuable member of the MDT.

Supervision and line management will be provided by the Specialist/ Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and the successful post holder will be supported to achieve competencies in core speech and language therapy skills in order to support their development from a band 5 to a Band 6 role.

We are happy to welcome applicants who qualify in Summer 2023 and with HCPC registration pending.
