    Description

    We are seeking an accomplished execution trader with extensive experience in digital assets, FX trading, and loan book management. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in trade execution, liquidity management, counterparty management and risk management. Client service excellence, and precise execution are paramount. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our trading desk and assist in developing tools for sustainable growth.

    Responsibilities

    Trade Execution

    • Execute client trades accurately and efficiently, ensuring minimal slippage and best execution practices.
    • Perform additional FX hedge trades and loan transactions to optimize the firm's profit and loss (P&L).

    Client Service Excellence

    • Provide prompt, accurate, and professional service to clients.

    Liquidity Management

    • Maintain sufficient liquidity within the trading books to support client transactions, including both FX trading and client withdrawals.
    • Continuously assess and enhance liquidity management strategies.

    Position Reconciliation

    • Ensure accurate reconciliation of positions to wallets and accounts, minimizing discrepancies and errors.

    Counterparty Relationships

    • Foster and expand external relationships with trading counterparties, seeking new opportunities and enhancing trading partnerships.

    Risk Management

    • Monitor market conditions and adjust risk exposure accordingly to ensure compliance within XBTO's risk policy
    • Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the development of proprietary tools and models for effective risk management and execution tools
    • Identify and suggest improvements in trading algorithms to mitigate risk.

    Counterparty Credit Oversight

    • Oversee credit risk exposure with counterparties, work with the credit team to assess creditworthiness and potential risk mitigation strategies.

    Regulatory Compliance

    • Ensure strict adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulations.

    Cross-Department Collaboration

    • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as technology and product development, to meet client needs, facilitate volume growth, and explore new product offerings.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing FX, with a preference for crypto trading environment experience. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing rate risk and liquidity on a loan book is required.
    • Financial Expertise: Demonstrable understanding of profit and loss (P&L) drivers and risk factors associated with managing FX and loan books.
    • Technological Proficiency: Proven experience in building tools for risk management and driving technological advancements in trading strategies.
    • Regulatory Awareness: A strong understanding of the technological and regulatory landscape, staying updated with industry regulations.
    • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
