- Contracted weekly hours: 39 hours Monday to Thursday (8 to 5 with 30 min unpaid lunch break and Friday 8 to 1 with no lunch break).
- Holidays: 25 days + 8 BH. Holiday year is September to August.
- Probation period: 6 months.
- Pension: autoenrolment at 12 weeks (5%EE & 3% ER) and then joining company pension scheme after successful probation period (5% EE & 10% ER).
- BUPA employee (taxable benefit) after successful probation period (option to also pay for family members at own expense).
- DIS: 3 x basic salary.
- CSP: 8 weeks basic pay in a rolling year following successful completion of probation.

The Job You'll Do;
- Working within a team creating 3D designs and 2D detailed drawings for new products within given timescales, achieving timing and quality targets.
- Maintaining existing designs and supporting change requests from the production facility.
- Work closely within multidisciplined teams to ensure customer requirements are achieved and projects are delivered on time and to the required quality level.
- Participating in design reviews on new product designs.
- Undertake detailed analysis of components and products identifying product improvement whilst maintaining any cost weight targets.
About You;
- Further education (FE) in Engineering / Design or similar qualification
- Experience in the use of a 3D CAD package (preferably Autodesk Inventor or Vault)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials as they relate to design and manufacturing.
- Experience of handling multiple tasks/projects.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Structured problemsolving capabilities.
- Selfmotivated with a high degree of creativity and initiative.
- Lateral thinking with the ability to provide realistic and innovative design solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise own workload.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
