    Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a prominent Early Years Support charity that helps young families with children aged 0-5, in their search for an innovative and dedicated New Business Manager.

    As the New Business Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape, and account manage partnerships with world and industry leading companies, bringing together the unique offerings for this Early Years Support charity to deliver high income and innovative partnerships.

    Saturday 12th April 2024Required: CV and Cover LetterResponsibilities:To support the development of the corporate partnerships strategy, with a particular focus on charity of the year (COTY), cause related marketing (CRM), marketing and brand partnerships.

    Manage the New Business Officer.

    Drive significant income for the charity by developing our portfolio of diverse, sustainable partnerships with the ability to secure in-year and future year income.

    Working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to develop a robust pipeline for new business prospects that ensure the financial targets are met and exceeded.

    Confident at every stage of the sales cycle, from research and cold prospecting to contracting and pitching.

    Proactively manage budgets, monitor and report on corporate partnership income generation including corporate pipeline, new business achieved and the status of existing partnerships to ensure income targets are delivered.


    Skills/Experience Required:
    Experience of securing new 5-6 figure partnerships in the charity sector. Clear evidence of business development including understanding need, development of proposals and pitches from initiation to launch.

    Ability to tackle complex issues and work with others to formulate contractual agreements, fundraising plans, communications campaigns, and overarching account plans.

    Experience of negotiating, managing and submitting partnership agreements and commercial participator agreements.
    Ability to develop operational plans and deliver KPIs in collaboration with a number of key stakeholders.
    Creative in solving problems and entrepreneurially seizing opportunities.
    Results-focused and solution-driven, with the ability to personally deliver tangible outcomes.
