We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position for Waltham Forest Home Treatment Team, based at Tantallon House, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford IG3 8XJ.
You will join another full-time Consultant Psychiatrist, 0.6wte Associate Specialist, 1wte Specialty Doctors, and 3wte Core Trainees, in the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across Waltham Forest.Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals
Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement.
6wte Associate Specialist, 1wte Specialty Doctors, and 3wte Core TraineesCommit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
