Futures have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager/Senior Brand Manager to join a leading, global, billion £ FMCG business who are well-known in the market for their great tasting products


Working in a small team of 4 you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategy for a market leading portfolio and having ownership of the brand expansion strategy and plans.


As a Senior Brand Manager, you will lead the annual brand planning process across all key retailers including the identification of strategy into execution.

Lead NPD and EPD projects as required, plus communication plans as needed to meet the goals of yourportfolio and the overall brand.


You will support two Brand Managers in running the portfolio to ensure optimal performance, having full autonomy of keeping track of internal and external performance metrics and course correcting strategy and execution plans as required.


Key Duties as a Senior Brand Manager:

  • Responsible for the development, approval and implementation of the annual brand plan
  • Working alongside the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director to create and execute successful communication plans to include; advertising, sponsorship, digital, social media marketing, consumer public relations and consumer promotions
  • Responsible for managing the brand budget and ensuring it is delivered in line with budgeted expectations and reported monthly
  • Lead the strategy and execution of the brands health platform, defining the future of the portfolio based on emerging health trends
  • Lead the communication strategy and activation, working alongside key external partners
  • Working alongside the Category team to mine data
  • Working with the category and strategic planning team to track activities and measure performance vs. KPI's and recommend strategies and tactics if the impact is divergent with expectations.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills required as a Senior Brand Manager:

  • 5 years experience within FMCG brand management
  • Experience of delivering successful branded multichannel communications campaigns from brief including advertising, consumer PR, social media and consumer promotions.
  • Strong commercial and strategy building background
  • Must have a strong understanding of communications development
  • Strong financial acumen and an affinity
  • Strong working knowledge of IRI, Kantar, ad hoc qual and quant research methods.
  • Able to work cross functionally to deliver NPD and EPD.
  • Experience in product development desirable
