    We are currently working on an exciting opportunity with one of the most prestigious UK charities, who are currently looking for a Regional People Lead to support them to deliver their promise and purpose within the regions they operate. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a new role and structure within the organisation that aligns to the regions strategic direction.

    Responsible for the Scotland region, this role will cover a large jurisdiction made up of employees and volunteers. You will ensure excellent HR business partnering within your region, supported by central SMEs, and understand the regional challenges in order to drive the people strategy.

    Acting as the HR SME for the region, you will be supporting the Head of Region to provide a highly effective business partner services and drive performance and engagement. As a People Lead, you will also be responsible for managing a People Advisor and Volunteer Advisor, so line management experience is a must.

    The ideal candidate will be experienced, flexible, fun, resilient and pragmatic. You will be a strong relationship builder and enjoying building rapport with individuals at all levels, to become the 'go-to' person with all things HR and People.

    Key Skills/Experience

    • CIPD qualification (level 5 or higher)
    • HR Business Partnering experience - can operate both strategically and operationally
    • Strong employment law knowledge
    • Experience in supporting and delivering EDI initiatives
    • Experience of working/volunteering in charitable organisations (desirable)
    • A passion for delivering best in class HR and people business partnering

    This is hybrid role, with expectations to be onsite one or two days a week in their Perth office. There will also be an expectation to visit volunteer sites, so travel will be required.
