Looking for an exciting new field/office based role in the Milton Keynes area?


Our client, a leader in the manufacturing of various packaging and strapping solutions, is on the lookout for an experienced sales person to join their Milton Keynes team.


As an
Area Account Manager, you will be maintaining, advising and developing distributors in UK with existing and new products, as well as actively searching for new distributors, increasing end-user business within specific industry sectors.

Duties include:

  • Maintaining, advising and further development of our distributors in UK with existing and new products
  • Active searching for new distributors. Increasing enduser business within specific industry sectors, including Meat and Poultry industries.
  • Must have good negotiation and communication skills and be adept at meeting client's needs.
  • Making price agreements with customers and being responsible from initial offer through to delivery and beyond.
  • Working as part of a small but close team.
  • Must be able to generate your own leads and be proficient at time management
  • Experience in selling Plastic strapping or similar Packaging would be ideal
  • Part office/ part field based
This role would be a great fit for you if you:

  • Have at least 3 years successful B to B Sales experience or similar
  • Are a relationshiporiented person, who has experience with Distributor sales
  • You are resolute, have negotiating skills, but no pusher, winwin for the customer and organization is very important
  • Are service oriented, have strong communication skills, are proactive, conscientious, and honest.
  • Have a full and clean UK driving license
