    Part Time Maintenance Technician – 16 hours per week

    We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced School Maintenance Technician, with an interest in providing a great service to our education customers carrying out minor repairs, ground works and compliance checks.

    Undertaking general repairs and maintenance to the buildings and maintain the site to a high standard.

    Have a proven ability in planning and prioritising repairs, including liaising with the Operations Manager and Head of Estates.

    Proactively identifying maintenance issues/defects and act to minimise cost.
    Working in a flexible manner to meet the needs of Delt and the Trust we support.
    Facilitating maintenance work by specialist contractors and supervise to ensure H&S compliance.

    We are looking for a hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to join the team and create a dynamic and inspiring learning environment for the students.

    This role will involve working 3pm – 6pm, Monday to Thursday, and 2pm – 6pm on Fridays (16hrs per week).

    You will work successfully as part of a team, building positive relationships with staff and key stakeholders both within Delt, the Trust and with external providers.

    As this is hands on maintenance role, DIY skills across multiple trades are a must.
