The PACU/Recovery within Broomfield Hospital Theatres has developed a new extended recovery service providing 1:1 high dependency care and continuous monitoring for patients who have undergone major elective surgery.
Our recovery unit provides care for patients following surgery from 24 theatres ant Broomfiled Hospital and 2 theatres at Braintree Community Hospital.
With surgical specialties upper and lower GI, vascular, urology, genecology, breast, obstetrics, maxillary facial, ENT, trauma, orthopedics, robotic surgery, head and neck surgery and Burns and Plastics for which we are a world renowned center of excellence.
We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming team.We are looking to recruit band 5 RNs or ODP's who want an exciting role within this progressive unit.
We welcome experienced and non-experienced staff to join our supportive team.
All training will be provided in an encouraging learning environment which includes preceptorship, supernumerary status while achieving Post Anesthetic Unit Competencies, in house courses, attending regular teaching sessions in our department supported by our anesthetic colleagues.
