    Job Description

    What will you be doing?

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Nomenclature and Configuration Management Engineer to join our team in Belfast within the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing configuration changes, optimizing nomenclature processes, and facilitating engineering change management. This role requires proficiency in configuration management tools and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

    Your main responsibilities will be:

    • Configuration Management Expertise: Manage configuration, planning, and process changes with precision to ensure consistency and accuracy across all project phases.
    • Nomenclature Optimization: Spearhead engineering nomenclature processes to enhance manufacturing readiness, promoting efficiency and clarity in project workflows.
    • Efficient Engineering Change Management: Facilitate the release and formatting of engineering changes, ensuring compatibility with various systems including PRM systems and internal platforms.

    Qualifications

    Experience, skills and qualifications required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. (Master's preffered)
    • Demonstrated experience in configuration management, preferably in the aerospace field.
    • Proficiency in at least one of the following tools: Optegra, Enovia, Windchill, CAPP, Teamcenter.
    • Exposure to CAD tools, particularly Catia V4 and V5, is a bonus.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
    • Flexibility in utilizing different tools and systems.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Curiosity and willingness to learn, open to junior candidates with potential for growth.
