LNJ Recruitment is pleased to announce a career opportunity for an experienced Tax Professional on behalf of our client.This role is based in Watford and offers the chance to work closely with a Tax Principal, providing comprehensive tax services to a diverse range of corporate and personal clients.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing compliance affairs and contributing to advisory services on complex tax issues.
Overview:
Location:
Watford office, with a hybrid working arrangement.
Employment Type:
Full-time, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform tax-related tasks in line with the firm's standards.
Prepare Corporate Tax Returns and handle related enquiries.
Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance and identifying tax planning opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of Corporation Tax Returns and adhere to filing deadlines.
Support the Business Tax Team in advisory services on intricate tax matters, including incorporations, IT/CGT planning, reconstructions, demergers, share schemes, and EIS/SEIS.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Must be CTA qualified.
Previous experience gained within a practice environment.
Proficient in managing a portfolio of OMBs, focusing on compliance and tax planning.
Understanding of the interplay between corporate and non-corporate taxes is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills, both with clients and colleagues.
Strong IT skills and technical tax ability.
A team-oriented individual with the capacity to manage junior team members.
