- Act as the primary point of contact and oversee all aspects of finance and financial management for the business.
- Sit on the senior leadership team whilst collaborating closely with the C-Suite to drive short-, mid-, and long-term financial planning, resource allocation, annual budgeting, and ongoing forecasting across all revenue and cost categories.
- Owning, enhancing, and future-proofing financial processes, ensuring the accuracy, insightfulness, and timeliness of financial statements and reported figures for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing the introduction of a new ERP system and the implementation of two business units into a shared services platform.
- Take the lead in business control, ensuring the continual financial well-being of the UK business by monitoring and controlling top and bottom-line performance, key financial and performance indicators, and the balance sheet.
- Responsible for managing and analysing cash flow to optimize financial efficiency.
- Take ownership of financial administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all administrative tasks, including monthly closes, reconciliation, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and tax filings.
- Provide comprehensive financial modelling and insightful analyses to support the senior team in decision-making processes.
- Drive automation and enhancements in financial processes, developing efficient and future-proof administrative setups to reduce manual work and allow more time for in-depth analysis to improve business outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as commerce, operations, and IT, providing financial support to aid in their decision-making processes.

- 7+ years of relevant experience in a financial role, previous experience in owning the financial planning and administration of a business is essential.
- A higher degree in Finance, Accounting, (Business) Economics.
- Experience in implementing a new ERP system.
- Experience merging businesses/business units into a shared services platform.
- Exposure to working in an SME with a very hands on approach as a finance number 1.
- Self-starter, self-sufficient and pro-active, who likes to get things done.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- This is a standalone role and are comfortable in owning that responsibility.
- Experience in cash management, budgeting and forecasting.
- Prior experience with Exact Online, MySQL, PowerBI.
- You are fluent in English.
