I'm looking for that unique blend of Direct Line Management expertise along with a deep understanding of hands on Systems and Software Engineering for a high growth, established Start Up in London.

Some people might class the organisation as a Disruptive start-up within the FinTech world.

I would probably just say they're a high technology company who have come up with an innovative new idea in an industry dominated by huge corporate behemoths.

The pace of which they can react, due to a lack of red tape/bureaucracy and adoption of seriously advanced technology - renders these big lumbering financial institutions sitting ducks for 'disruption'.

We want someone who can fit into the company's ethos of Technical excellence, along with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.

We require an individual who has a passion for Managing a team of high calibre engineers.

Who understands how to implement process, procedure and strategic direction, can get involved in high level architectural discussion and who can put the foundations in place to grow the team significantly.

The team comprises of Site Reliability Engineers, who work to DevOps principles. You'll also have extensive interaction with the Software Engineering function.

From a hands on perspective, which equates to approximately 20%, you'll be exposed to some of the most advanced technology in Europe.

Everything the company runs is in Docker Containers. The Infrastructure team are using GO extensively. The rest of the stack is a mix of Chef, Angular, Elastic Search, React and more.
