We are currently recruiting for an experienced Claimant Personal Injury Paralegal to deal with and run an RTA case load consisting mainly of MOJ claims. All the cases are likely to involve soft tissue injuries, simple fractures and psychological damage.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Managing own caseload of RTA MOJ matters which have dropped out of the OIC portal, involving soft tissue injuries, simple fractures and psychological damage;
• Pursuing claims through pre and post-litigation stages, making full use of our case management system;
• Complying with agreed service standards;
• Communicating with clients, insurers, expert witnesses, Counsel and solicitors;
• Dealing with administration as required.

Skills/Competencies:

• Previous claimant personal injury case handling experience, including liability disputed cases involving split settlements;
• Previous experience of issuing MOJ proceedings;
• Making and receiving court applications & having had stage 3 experience;
• Team player;
• Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Good attention to detail.

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8am - 6pm.
