As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
Your role will include testing and commissioning of the newest electrical NSRP components from the initial delivery to the final testing of the platform as well as producing, reviewing, and authorising First of Class procedures for build and commissioning.
# You will also be expected to provide support to the site team and shipbuilder for all build and commissioning issues. Approving concessions raised by the shipbuilder during the build and commissioning programme.Your role will operate within a cross engineering discipline team with multiple industrial partner organisations and therefore interpersonal and team building skills are vital.
A Site Engineer Training Plan will be provided to drive the technical development required to be able to represent Rolls-Royce within on-site Approval Groups as the NSRP Technical Authority.
The curriculum covers external and internal courses and on the job training which leads to a formal oral qualification board.

Preferably be educated to degree level, studying for a degree or equivalent with practical experience in an electrical engineering discipline.
You will proactively drive for results, demonstrate creativity in problem solving, be comfortable with ambiguity, and have strong planning and organisational skills.
A robust tolerance to different organisational behaviours will be required and be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with and influence key stakeholders whilst building relationships over long distances.
