    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer with SC clearance to join our team. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing production processes, creating routings, supporting New Product Introductions (NPI), and designing work instructions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing operations in compliance with security clearance requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
    2. Create detailed production routings, including sequencing of operations, resource allocation, and time estimates.
    3. Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring smooth transition and successful production ramp-up.
    4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure manufacturability of new products.
    5. Design and document work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process guidelines for manufacturing personnel.
    6. Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
    7. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
    8. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address process deviations, non-conformities, and quality issues.
    9. Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
    10. Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel to ensure proper execution of production processes.
    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    1. SC clearance is essential for this role.
    2. Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    3. Proven experience in manufacturing process design and optimization, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
    4. Strong understanding of production planning, routing, and scheduling principles.
    5. Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and methodologies.
    6. Proficiency in developing work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
    7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address manufacturing challenges.
    8. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
    9. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
    10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
