A large rail organisation is seeking Land Assembly assistants to join them on a permanent basis in the West Midlands.

This will be a hybrid working position.

The role is required to undertake land assembly activities, to secure land entry for work packages.


Main duties will include:

  • Preparing acquisition and possession notices
  • Managing daily progress trackers
  • Maintaining a register of all notices prepared, served and returned.
  • Ensuring checklists are completed correctly by suppliers.
  • Quality assurance
  • Preparation for meetings
  • Reviewing of data

Skills required:

  • Data management, including land referencing, data recording, analysis and assurance
  • Ability to coordinate groups of stakeholders and agree requirements
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data with a GIS and digital mapping environment
  • Project management skills

Knowledge required:

  • Land referencing, land acquisition
  • Understanding of land assembly activities and compulsory purchase
  • Knowledge of Registration of title (Land Registry)

Experience:


  • Land referencing and assembly
  • Experience of analysing and compiling data using database reporting tools
  • Experience working within infrastructure projects, within highways/ rail.

Salary:
£29,037.00-£36,340.00 per year
