Technical Support Engineer

Harpenden, Hertfordshire

Full time & permanent


Reed Engineering are working with a Hertfordshire based company who provide electrical sensors to various industrial sites which help detect and prevent faults which could have a detrimental affect on businesses.

This role would suit someone looking foran office based role, with some travel (international) who possesses a strong electrical engineering background who has excellent communication skills to work with customers as well as internal staff.


Duties of the role include:

  • Provide pre and post sales product support to customers
  • Provide product support to internal sales team
  • Keep accurate records of support provided
  • Attend customer sites when required
  • Product testing before dispatch to clients

Skills and experience required:

  • Electrical engineering background including electrical engineering qualifications
  • Experience working within an industrial electrical or panel manufacturing background
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Positive attitude to help drive business opportunities
