    In recognition of ever-changing market landscapes, an rare opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Professional to guide the commercial direction of the Sales and Marketing functions.

    Role
    Bring greater focus to the interplay between Sales & Marketing, NPD, Supply Chain and Operations activities and how that reshapes corporate growth objectives
    Working alongside the Director of UK Sales and supporting the Head of Export to optimise relationships with suppliers and customers to understand their requirements and filter that back through all departments of the organisation
    Accept over-arching marketing accountability for customer acquisition, development and retention whilst being mindful of contractual obligations and legislative compliance
    Formulate and implement the direction for the business to drive and advance market penetration via KPI performance management and fine-tuning of processes and procedures
    Support the Management Team in development of Corporate Strategy, Departmental Objectives and Organisational Structure as required

    You
    This is a finesse role requiring a pragmatist, whose natural communicative style enlists guidance and steering as central principles, and who can be instrumental in promoting a growth mindset across the Team
    Are able to demonstrate leadership skills to include coaching, prioritisation and delegation together with sensitive Change Programmes and good Employment Practices, while fostering an environment of inter-departmental cohesion
    Can evidence experience of Budgeting and Reporting, and be adept in technical Contract negotiations coupled with complex Supply Agreements
    Should be conversant with the full scope of current marketing techniques including front-end data driven analysis, campaign formulation and implementation with strong messaging via Trade Bodies and industry exhibitions and forums
    Notable achievements in an international arena and at ease with associated travel agendas for representations to a key strategic account base

    Familiarity with bulk liquid chemical storage and transportation, HMRC bonded goods regulations and associated site safety protocols would be advantageous.
