Procurement Category Specialist (IT/Cyber)12 months FTCUp to £55k base plus benefitsProcureOne are managing an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Category Specialist (12 months fixed term contract) for an organisation often ranked in the top 5 in the 'Best Big Company to Work For' poll.

As Procurement Category Specialist within the Indirect team you will deliver a high quality, timely and value adding service across the IT/Cyber Category, building upon strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and contractors alike.

Supporting the development and delivery of the IT/Cyber category management strategy Management of specific category portfolio, including developing the category sourcing strategy, the selection of suppliers and contractual terms best suited to the category Maximising the value, measured through a range of indicators, from contractual arrangements utilising the effective development of contract strategies, contract development and lifecycle management, updating and informing on contract information as appropriate Pro-actively identifying, implementing, and securing saving opportunities Taking responsible for managing innovation and knowledge management for the IT/Cyber category portfolio Suitable applicants will have the right behavioural skills in order to build first class stakeholder relationships.
