    Your challenge:

    At GHX, our mission is to reduce the cost of doing business in healthcare by enabling better supply chain management. Through our suite of supply chain software solutions, we make it easier for hospitals, healthcare providers and suppliers to drive cost and inefficiency out of their processes. We have plans to grow our business further and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Software Development to join our Product Development team and be based out of our offices in Cambridge.

    Your role:

    Your role will be to drive the development of IT solutions that support GHX services and products to its customers by managing development teams. This position partners internally with teams across Product Development, Product Management, Customer Operations and externally with offshore developers to ensure the architectural and technical visions answer the customers' needs. This role has a direct impact on GHX Customer Experience, by enabling smooth and seamless systems and applications.

Continuous learning will be part of the experience with us so we don't expect you to arrive knowing everything, but the following competencies will enable you to be successful in this role:

    • Minimum of 5 years in software development management
    • Technical knowledge requirements such as Java Development & AWS Solutions Architecture
    • Experience building and maintaining production systems within the AWS ecosystem
    • Experience with continuous integration, testing, and deployment
    • Thorough understanding of configuration management concepts in the AWS cloud
    • Understand technical architecture and implementation to a code level
    • Experience of working in an international matrix organization and working with remote teams
    • Experience in working in an Agile environment and with the Agile development process.
    • Good people management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at varying levels internally and externally, on site and remotely
