Description

We are recruiting for a Process Engineer(Iron Castings) to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Coventry area.

The Process Engineer will work as part of a team working on design modifications to enhance quality, reduce lead time and manufacturing costs.

Maintain calibration of simulation software and measurement tools

• Coordinate and maintain QC systems
• Work to reduce the cost of manufacturing and to eliminate any reworking
• Optimise methods of manufacturing and layout of tooling/rigging
• Promote lean manufacturing/continuous improvement tools where needed
• Coordinate and maintain QC systems

Previous experience as a Process Engineer position in a similar manufacturing environment

• Able to optimise methods of manufacturing and layout of tooling/rigging
• Experience of upgrading and maintaining NPI and ensure that manufacturing data is logged
