    Join ourTeam as a Direct Freight Planner

    An opportunity has arisen for a Direct Freight Planner for the Landproduct area. The successful candidate can be based in Bradford at our Landbranch.

  • Location : Bradford, UK
  • Hours : 9:00 to 17:30
  • What will you be doing?

  • Understanding CustomerRequirements and ensuring the delivery of first-class CustomerService.
  • Planning, arranging,monitoring, and controlling all elements of Direct Land Transport LTL& FTL (Door to Door) and the completion of all associateddocumentation (operational, administrative & legal).
  • Operation of DB Schenker ITSystems, Microsoft Office & associated tools.
  • Understanding and adheringto company Quality Policy and Objectives, and maintenance of KPI's.
  • Timely and accurategeneration of Client sales Invoicing and timely processing of costs &sales outside of agreements in electronic form.
  • Timely and effectiveresponse to general inquiries and queries, or escalation if unable to dealwith completely or accurately.
  • Compliance with all Legal,Regulatory and Company Standards.
  • Compliance with thecompany's H&S Policy and practices and contribute to creating a saferworking environment.
  • About You

  • Previous experience in asimilar role.
  • Knowledge of thelogistics/transport sector.
  • Attention to detail.
  • High levels of energy,sound judgement and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent relationshipmanagement and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communicationskills.
