As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to paediatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of their care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs, progress, and any changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical interventions when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid nmc pin.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in paediatric nursing.
• Excellent knowledge of paediatric nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in highpressure situations.
• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology relevant to paediatric care.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patientcentred care.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in paediatric nursing or related specialties.
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Knowledge of electronic medical record systems.
