    9 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

    About the role:

    You will be part of the Customer Pillar within Product & Tech and report to the Senior Director of Customer Product. You will play a crucial role in understanding customer behavior, driving insights, and leveraging data, analytics and artificial intelligence solutions to enhance the overall product experience (e.g. app/ web). You will lead a talented team and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Product analysts, Data scientists, ML/ Data engineers and an Optimisation specialist within the Customer Product.
    • Drive the use of data, analytics and machine learning solutions in strategic decision-making, improving the product and optimizing the user journey.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, present potential solutions and ensure a measurable business impact
    • Empower stakeholders to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement by enabling actionable insights and other data, analytics and artificial intelligence solutions.
    • Define a strategic roadmap, track progress and manage stakeholder expectations
    • Collaborate with other departments to contribute to company-wide initiatives.
    • Keep up with pioneering developments in relevant areas, share your knowledge with the team and the wider company

    Profile & Experience:

    • Demonstrable experience in data, analytics or data science roles at leadership positions.
    • Preferably an academic quantitative degree (MSc) in Econometrics/Economy, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science or another related field with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis
    • Have an understanding and experience on AWS/GCP data offerings (Redshift / Big-query)
    • Mastery of SQL and experience with BI reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview, Looker) and modern databases. Knowledge of Python is preferred.
    • Have an understanding of modern product management concepts and product discovery and delivery activities.
    • Practical, outcomes-focused, and driven to have a positive impact on teams and outcomes.
    • Sharp business judgment with the ability to distill complex insights into actionable recommendations.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
    • Strong networking skills to collaborate cross-functionally with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; experience in e-commerce is a plus.
