Role description:


As the BA Service Lead for the Mobility Technical Advisory business, you will support the tenfold growth of the service line through organic and inorganic means over the next five years.

You will need to develop the capability and capacity required ot meet market needs, particularly in the New Mobility arena.

This will involve the optimisation of the Global Excellence Centres (GEC) based outside of the UK&I across the entire service line.


Role accountabilities:


  • Work with the UK Growth Team to identify current and future market opportunities
  • Work with the Global Service Director to identify acquisition opportunities
  • Work with Business Area (BA) leadership and set strategy and longterm requirements for skills and capabilities for service line and plays active role in ensuring L&D is delivered in BA
  • Play lead role in realizing the benefits associated with the Service Line strategy and associated projects
  • Embed sustainability into the delivery of our services, add additional value to our clients
  • Lead BA Service community, leading them through service transformation and change to enable strong service excellence culture and accelerated transformation
  • Set & ensure the highest standards of Service quality, leading to client satisfaction and repeat business
  • Accountable for implementing standards across BA and setting appropriate governance and assurance to ensure optimal usage and compliance
  • Create an environment for adoption of best practice, working with BA leadership team
  • Feedback to Global Service Director for continuous refinement and optimization of the service line processes
  • Create environment for and deploy automated solutions to repeatable processes which improve efficiency and lower our cost of delivery for Service Line
  • Work with the BA Country Director, Operations Directors, Sales Director to implement Global Service Strategy
  • Work with Global Service Director to influence and develop service roadmap and development projects contained within it
  • Work with BA Director to implement agreed plan to realize expected benefits
  • Worth with BA Quality Manager to assure compliance with service standards

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor or Master's degree
  • At least 10+ years of experience leading and growing a significant business function within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
  • Able to inspire multidisciplinary teams around a common purpose and demonstrate significant leadership capability.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing services strategies to drive growth, capability development, standardization and automation across the UK and working collaboratively with multiple geographies.
  • Demonstrate significant leadership capability and the ability to inspire geographically dispersed teams around a common set of processes, procedures, systems, and tools.
