    Are you an experienced Band 7 or 8a Clinical Psychologist looking for a new challenge in a well established neuropsychology team? The postholder will be based with a neuropsychology team at York Hospital, but will have some clinical time dedicated to delivering a satellite clinic at Scarborough Hospital.

    Travel time will be factored into the role alongside opportunities for hybrid working.


    You will be joining a well established and respected wider Psychological Medicine department, made up of Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologist, CBT Therapists, Specialist Counsellors and Assistant Psychologists, with an embedded admin team and Trainee's on placement from the Hull DClinPsych.

    There is opportunity to work across other services in psychological medicine making the role full-time.

    qualifications, knowledge, skills, personal qualities
    Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies as accredited by the BPS and HCPC registration

    Post entry grade experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of medically ill patients across a range of care-settings.

    Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to patients, their families, carers and a wide range of lay and professional persons within and outside the NHS.

    Skills in providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups.
