- Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role is an integral part of the UK commercial team, managing global, regional, and local stakeholders within EssenceMediacomX, GroupM, and other group agencies.
- As the commercial lead, you will be the primary point of contact for UK and global clients, collaborating closely with the Commercial Director and Commercial Managers to foster profitable long-term client relationships.
- Your responsibilities will include overseeing new business initiatives, supporting with client onboarding, and participating in contract negotiations.
- You must demonstrate strong ownership, motivation, and initiative, along with excellent communication skills to build solid relationships with finance and client services teams.
- Lead UK and Global pitches for new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure commercial proposals meet client needs.
- Support client transition management and contract negotiations.
- Review commercial terms, participate in contract renegotiations, and assist with resource management.
- Work on client profitability analysis and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with client contracts and manage audits.
- Handle contract compliance and legal disputes effectively.
- Regular review of contractual terms and opt-ins to stay compliant.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is a must.
- 6+ years' experience in Advertising or Media industry.
- Strong financial analysis skills with knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and build strong relationships.
